In Scotland the police "don't need to be called in". If the police are satisfied a crime has been committed they will act without any complaint being made. She doesn't even need to be charged. Trolling online, which her comment may be categorised, is an ever increasing problem and causes individuals harm to the point where people, including young people have taken their own lives as a direct result on targeted trolling. Her comments should absolutely be considered for action against her.
