I don't think the V8 will ever be in the £1K category as by the time they would in theory reach it they will start to appreciate. Some are for sale at over £6000.

I would love a V8 but that is something that is going to have to wait for later, haven't got the space as I have to park in a residents carpark, no parking near the house.
I will have to move house before that can happen. One day, hopefully. Price, what do you pay? Difficult really, I always think if it's too cheap, then what's wrong with it and how much is it going to cost me put right or ouch! that's too expensive. I paid £1600 for my Rover 75, body wise there are a few scratches but I'm not bothered about that, but mechanically I know everything has been sorted. A friend of mine who was in the motor trade says, 'buy the best you can afford'. He helped me to buy the Rover 75 I have now because I wouldn't have looked at buying one. My requirements were simple, had to be an automatic, be a large car, comfortable, be something a bit different and within a £2k budget. |

Anytime is a good time to buy a 75/ZT V8 if you can afford it and you want one go for it.

I am very much considering one at the moment but I really want a ZT-T SE spec car so i don't feel like a down grade.
Currently tossing up - fit the sprintex to my V6 or buy a V8?? The time has come where I have lost all love for my E90, its just got to 3 years old and I fancy having the / an zt-t as a daily again. Choices, though it would seam there are few ZT-T V8's out there

Personally, go for the V8, the sprintex would be nice, but you cant beat the sound of the eight.
