[QUOTE=MangoMan;1083855]I don't think there is a 'clash'. I very much doubt that the vast majority of people going to the National would have come to the Poole Meet anyway, and a lot of people coming to the Poole Meet most probable wouldn't have been going up there either.

I agree with Bill I fail to see how an (unofficial I presume) meet that will last for a couple of hours in Poole park can hurt the national..As the saying goes "you pays your money and takes your choice" given the choice I would attened a regional meet over a national any day so stop bickering and let each do his or her own thing and enjoy whatever you are doing..As for me.. I will be spending a few days with two very special ladies and I know that I will enjoy myself much more than any of you will at your meets...Cheers Ian

Clash;? omg get real I don't travel hundreds of miles to meets, far too costly these days. It's a simple local get-together folks lighten up, enjoy the national and we will raise our glasses to you all in true sincerity. Mike.

hehehe Phil63 and we look forward to seeing you my friend.
*Please note .... We can nw have a roast dinner at the Boathouse for £9.95 per head. OK it's a couple of quid more than at "Wetherspoons" but hey it is a totally different class of venue and food. A no brainer methinks. *For anyone arriving early; I will be "on site" from 10.30 am. Just to meet and greet as it were. For foks from `outta town', YOU are our guests so, I will show you around if you wsh. Maybe a showing of the 75-ZT club flag through town before we depart in convoy.?
I very much look forward to seeing many familiar faces and some new welcome new people to. See you real soon. Mike.

Looks like we'll have to give it a miss. Can't get the sump washed till Monday. Might just flush it through and see how it goes......

Well. today the `Boatshed' called me at home asking for the number of seats and a firm booking. Since I'm unable to supply the requested info, I therefore declined to make a firm booking. The Boatshed have limited seating whereas no such problem at Wetherspoons. We'll just `play it by ear'. Weather's looking great, see you all soon. Mike.

Cool

Well, I wish you all well on the day. I too will raise a glass, or two, to you, and to other meets around the world.
I was at last year's meet and it was a great day out. Alas I no longer have the photo's online.
I'll be at the National in Cumbria, just a short hop from Essex in a ZT. Such a joy to drive.
