You know, I was amazed the first time I saw bananas actually growing, that they grow pointing upwards. I'd always assumed - if indeed I'd ever given it a thought - that they grew pointing downwards.......

Maybe not the best quality, taken on the spur of the moment with my phone, this cat could sleep for England, anywhere.

I have a question for the wise folk....How do I get the photographs to actually display in the post ??

I always seem to get thumbs or links such as above.

When writing your post, there is a little yellow envelope-shaped icon just above the writing box. Click this and enter the URL of your image and this will put your image directly in the post.

That’s strange, I just left click the IMG code of my photobucket photo and a note comes up “copied” place the curser on the reply panel and press ctl + V to paste picture at that position, I do the same after writing my text in Word because I’m a lousy speller I need to spell check before I submit.

Lightpainter, the field Simon describes adds the image tags which are already present in the IMG code from Photobucket. This is only used if you are linking to a pic from elsewhere, eg right click on any image on any web page, copy the image location and paste into a post and it will automatically acquire URL tags which makes it a clickable link on the forum. IMG tags are added instead of URL tags if the yellow envelope field is used and make it viewable directly on the page.
blah
[IMG] blah [/IMG]

Where blah is the image location.

Hope this makes sense.
