This is fantastic. Would like it done with a nexus 7 but not confident enough with the fiddly bits :-)

Could anyone explain in simple terms how this would be charged? I know USB was mentioned but how is that configured?. As in where would the port be?

I hard wired a 12v socket like this one to the ignition feed

and then just used this to connect for power

It all hides in the dash

Honestly its a doddle. What head unit do you have.. The only tricky bit was cutting the fascia adapter for my tablet to fit

Its a sony aftermarket cd player in there right now. I judt bought the car a month ago so dont have radio codes or anything. Id be looking to fit a nexus 7 in there.
