As far as I know, Andy also fits the 'current' metal Master cylinder, just in case yours does go.

Andy - Absolutely no rush, but if there is supply of dust covers for the push-rod, I would appreciate one for mine just to finish it off.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

It would appear to lack one of the major advantages of the Tazu.
Being able to see how much fluid is in the resevoir.

This has two benefits.
1) Filling after bleeding is much simpler.
2) Once you have suffered a round of Rover clutch problems and paranoia has set in, the ability to poke a torch up the clutch pedal, squint beneath the steering column shroud and confirm the fluid level is a massive benefit to peace of mind.

1 you wont have to check it

2 the original was black so you could not check it

3 buy a mirror

4 check your slave

I quite don't follow...

The original MC is black plastic, you cannot see the level at all.

The other two are both of TAZU manufacture and are made from alloy, so you cannot see the level on those either. The latest one though, is supposed to contain more fluid, so should allow for a little more range between top ups, if the slave develops a problem.

You could maybe ask TAZU via Andy, if a little level sighting window could be added to the new one, it might prove to be an expensive extra though.

OK my update....

Nothing at all has changed, apart from a creak has developed as I press the clutch - which is on my to do list to squirt a bit of grease on the pivots. It still nice and smooth, just as I originally reported after fitting and the level of take up hasn't budged.

So nothing at all to report really - its great.
