Was in the boot and shifted everything to lift the spare wheel cover. It was bone dry underneath. After all the rain we have had it was wonderful to see.

It's been quite a few months since the new rear cluster gaskets were renewed.

Thanks to the club members for that heads-up.

I checked the boot after finding loads of water in there the other week but is nearly completely dry in there.

Tightened my bushing and applied a generous coating of removable thread lock to stop it coming loose again (hopefully that works!)

Fitted rear door harman tweeters and speakers after changing the loom. Also changed one of the exterior door handles whilst the door card was off. Start on front doors tomorrow.

Finally got round to fitting my electric rear blind - tidied some wiring behind the dash whilst I was at it, and fitting the switch

Easy day today...fitted some new wind deflectors (had some on before but took them off last summer) and changed passenger side dipped beam and indicator bulbs which was a tad of a pain as it was a bumper off job.

Took the Beast for a short run to the seafront afterwards.

Drivers Side Front Wheelarch Liner
Front Brake Vents
Paint Front Calipers
Spray & Fit Loadspace Finisher
Lower Engine Mount
Heat Shield
Touch Up Rear Bumper
Touch Up Sharks Fin
Black Door Handles
Adjust Passenger Side Bonnet Locking Stud

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

Removed side engine mount and bracket and have started to polish it up, and will hopefully finish it off tomorrow on the Bench grinder with polishing wheel and will then post up a couple of pictures, also gave me the opportunity to clean the brackets which go down by the side of the Alternator

Cool

Filled the V8 up with go go juice for the trip to Weymouth. Route planned via places of interest to my wallet. Fort Esso, Castle BP and Shell Beach.

Changed the power steering pump and alternator today.

Found that timing belts are now a priority also.
