Glad I'm not the only one. Despite hours of sealing and investigating etc saw there was more water in mine today.
Like you, I'm getting seriously hacked off now. Current chief suspect is the fact I park nose down on the drive and the reservoir of water that forms next to the boot lid. Somehow getting in despite me applying loads of sealant and rebinding the seal. |

Checked, cleared the plenum drains, and did the spyhole mod.
Good job I did, a few inches of water in there. Car has previously had ECU repair as well :/ |

Checked the oil level to make sure the PCV valve was doing its job and hadn't stuck again. All looked good.

Put a space-saver wheel on the front (where the tyre had gone down while standing) prior to moving the car to where I can work on it, changing the front springs. Noticed the front disc well worn and the pads right down too. Probably original items, based on the milage.
Bit concerned over the amount of rust on exposed steel parts, including sub-frame and all steering and suspension parts. Perhaps buying a low mileage car isn't always the best idea. |

Just completed the 'marmite' ambient lighting. Very pleased. One each in the grab handles and a fifth in the map reading light binnacle. Now, just waiting for it to get dark for the full effect. All for less than a fiver.

New shoes all round, and a pair of wiper blades.
Tyre place had to remove one locking nut (stripped the splines) and one nut had been windy'd on so much it snapped 2 of their impact sockets trying to get it off with a breaker bar. driver £150 miles today, loved every one of them new thermostat arrived too, should help with the fuel economy, and heating... |

Just driven the limo to Stamford in the sparkling sunshine with Bach on the stereo. That's what retirement is all about!
