This is the point "River Clyde Connie" my paypal account is still £0.00!! Not a penny has been paid in by paypal!!
I reckon this is a rouse to get all his money back and disappear. As soon as I get my money back I will happily send the refund money back. Paul |

I'd reply and say your client owes me £x amount. The balance can be paid upon your arrival and the Paypal case will be closed.

My Client LOL yeh yeh, I'll bet what you have a is text from a mate of his impersonating a solicitor/debt collector.
Just sit tight, wait for the paypal to pay the monies back, then do the honest thing and send back the over paid money. Wouldnt worry about the fake text. Simon

It's the tough economic climate - Must be affecting solicitors too, maybe work charging £50 for a letter is drying up so they are doing texts for only £25 ROFL

Don't hold your breath! I bought items from a highly respected member on here, in my view the items were inferior and NOT suitable for purpose. He categorically denied me a refund, saying hundreds of others were satisfied. I returned them, he sent me more, I returned them again. Then they went missing. I was £50 down with no way back. I swallowed it as I had no other choice and didn't want the distasteful situation of a paypal dispute. But I won't be doing it again. Not with him anyway. The moderator was patient and helpful but unable to intervene under the club constitution. The seller is still selling. And no, I will not divulge names. I'm neither an idiot trouble maker nor an uneducated beginner. I know what I have a right to expect, but I hate unpleasantness. Sorry, it still rankles.

We jumped in some time ago working with Swordy.
It is Club policy that in normal cases we do not intervene in private sales, but in this case we felt that we needed to. For the time being we will not enter into open forum discussion, as the matter is still active, and will be resolved.
