I'm more interested in cloning one of the diagnostic experts. Is there copyright on them and if so, who owns it?

Without one of them the software, whether legal ot not, is of very little relevance for the majority.

Default I own Brian's

I own MarinaBrian's copyright.
Paid for it with lunch at RTYC and a packet of Ginger Snaps....

Hands off....he is not available for resale until I speak to Dolly The Sheep's Cloning Scientists in Aberdeen.

Then I am marketing a Virtual MarinaBrian...

Joking...

I was hoping that it would be legal to clone them as the copyright may have expired by now. After all, some of them are getting on a bit.

Gawd, now that's not a pretty thought, one of those is bad enough, never mind multiples

The rights to produce MarinaBrian's are held by Mutha and Fatha I'm afraid, and fortunately the original plans have been destroyed

It may be worth contacting X-Part, as they supply technical support for their dealer network

Thank you for the information.
My reply to the post was a quick Google search for copyright law in the UK ,there is a wealth of information regarding American copyright and the dates they signed up to the agreements etc

Thank you for the clarification
