If we want to travel up together, how about we leave from The Red Deer car park (Auchinkilns). Just off the M80 at 10am. We can go straight onto the M80 and should get to Tayport about 11.15am.

EDIT: Re the above link. The marker in the map is slighly wrong. The Red Deer is second on the left, when coming off the roundabout. Beside the Travelodge.

I've been getting vibrations at speed through the steering and its been worse this week. Just jacked the car up to find the O/S front wheel having loads of 'play' and knocking noises when pulling the wheel about so I cant do the mileage and speed to Tayport. Sounds like the wheel bearing or possibly the ball joint. Off it goes to the garag£!

Sorry Chirs (and others) . I'll make a special effort to get to the next one.

Chris, let me send my apologies for not attending. I do not yet have the MG3 but I set off in the 75 to attend todays meet. However the weather was beyond awful, I was stuck to a crawl of around 40mph along the motorway and made it as far as the Forth Bridge before turning back for home. I decided it was the safer option as the water build up on the road and the driving style of others in such despicable conditions I didn't fancy another hour of driving up and then the drive home later if conditions hadn't improved.

Hope the meet goes well, once again apologies.
