Almost any tyre will do on a dry dust free road. But we live in England, and it rains an awfull lot here, so make sure you get a tyre that can handle our wet weather.... (I wont mention snow and ice.) lol...
That's why I am on UNiRoyal Rainmasters.. ... |

Unless you are severely hard up?
I believe any tyre is OK if you drive within its limits, I believe a cheap chinese tyre is perfectly ok for someone not testing the limits of their 75, who is on a pension or has other more pressing expenditure. OK, I have Falkens a reasonable mid range tyre but it's all about how deep your pockets are

I agree any tyre is safe within its limits, however some of those Chinese ones are so terrible their limits are basically not moving at all. Frankly id only use them for MOTing a car i was goung to lay up for a while. They cant be used for a daily driver.

On the motorway today in VERY heavy rain i saw several cars nearly lose it (it was torrential) and a few pulled over. My ZT was fine, the Rainsports did what i paid a lot for them to do. Car was secure, stable and i was quite confident.

Yep. They're not nice and will probably cost more in damage to the car in the long run and aren't really worth the risk to the car or the lives relying on them.

Cheap budget Chinese tyres, treat them with respect and they will be fine.
I would sooner have my car fitted with a set, rather than cross ply tyres or a set of Remoulds of yesteryear, and that is a fact.,They were BAD |

I use Barum Bravuris 2 made by Continental in Portugal. Very good quality, quiet and low price. Other good tires that I like, but not cheap are Continentals and Michelin.
