Sadly it does Herman, I've never been able to work it out either!

I'd much rather buy a 7 owner car that's been well maintained, than a 1 owner car that's been neglected, sadly, I'm in the minority!

Or didn't like the running costs

Let's buy a cheap V8, complain about the performance, the fuel, the road tax etc

Wondering now why people get so upset about prices as apparently no one wants one

Why not share your 'realistic view' on the price since you're interested.

Sure you get first dibs if acceptable

At least we feel the same about that, so the minority just grew stronger

Wasn't directed at you to be honest
Tend to ignore those valuations..........................

Was wondering what Brulan would think without being prompted

You and I will never agree on V8 prices but we can have a real good go at it

7K for the ZT seems alright then

There's plenty of CLK500 compared to ZT260

Sorry about the 75 though

German build quality = german plastic
How old is the CLK?...........8 years........they last that long without model change? No wonder it's just 4k

Still leaves the question how much you would pay for a ZT 260

Go and buy a 2 owner car that's been neglected then.

I know this car and I know its owner. He would not be selling this car unless its 100%. He even pulled it from sale before, to sort a problem that appeared whilst it was for sale!!

Sometimes knowing that the car has been looked after by an enthusiast like Bob is worth paying a little more for...

Most of the people on this site that say its too much money are usually the ones that have been looking for a V8 for the money they think these are worth for a long time!!

They only Imported 40 a Year So I guess less CLK 500's around than V8 Rovers MG etc

Sorry about the 75 though
No idea what that means

German build quality = german plastic I
Not too much Plastic in mine - unlike my Rover & previous MG's

How old is the CLK?...........
8 years........they last that long without model change?
They last around 8 years between model changes - And they are still in Business

Still leaves the question how much you would pay for a ZT 260
V8 MG ?
A Nice one maybe £5k
