To be honest I haven't, but the local station to me would mean a change at Coventry, and I'd still have to pay to park (albeit probably less than the NEC). I could go direct from Nuneaton, but again would have to park. It probably is less than £10 all in but not by much. I don't have the option of being dropped at the station to avoid the parking charges unfortunately.

taking the 75 to visit its relatives at the NEC
Always wanted to visit the Classic Car Show at the NEC but never had a chance to before with work commitments and the like.
Had intended to take a bus trip to Birmingham but in the end decided to take the car, nearly as cheap and with the return ferry ticket coming to € 44 and I get to travel in style. The car's been converted to LPG and as Fraser so eloquently puts it 'Life's a gas on LPG'. And that goes double for us in Belgium where we pay under 50 eurocents per litre. So all in all this trip will not break the bank. Hope to see all you 75 and ZT owners there and put some faces to names. Will be there for Saturday and Sunday. |

Just discovered I've won a pair of tickets thanks to Rimmer Bros so I'm hoping to be there on Sunday! Looking forward to visiting the stand and meeting some of you. I'm easy to recognise from my wife's description of me - 6ft 8in grey haired angry looking man with missing teeth!

We're all set , the cars are in position and looking very sparkly, the banners are up and we are ready to chat to people about 75s and ZTs. If your heading to the show this weekend you're sure to have a great time, it's huge! And do pop over to say hello. We are in hall 17 on stand number 470, part of the Rover Village of clubs and right next to the Auto Jumble stalls.
