As cliff has said alot of parts were made in the garage as a one off but there is still alot you can do to a standard bay the aircon pipes for one engine mounts another this is were I started

Well I made a start on mine.




A long, long way to go yet.

Nice one just choose a small part at a time and gradually work your way across your engine bay you'll be surprised how well they come up and once you've got it to a level your happy with its easier to keep clean

Mines not up to standard, but I try and keep it clean. not easy when every dirt shows up!

Thanks Colin for sharing pictures of your engine bay very nice I'm getting alot of comeback through pms saying how this thread is inspiring people to get busy under there bonnets there are some excellent mods being done by club members and some very stunning engine bays so if you've just started or work in progress still post up pictures as there is alot of interest in what others have achieved

The perils of owning a bright yellow car - every nook and cranny is highly visible. You do a great job keeping that paintwork looking good, especially around all the wiring and pipework.

Sadly there are a lot of chips on it, im hoping to deal with this over winter.
