Share your thoughts Mickey... i've seen a few not so nice posts recently, and completely share your opinion.

But as everyone has said, not everyone gets on and when your sat behind a screen its easy to say what you want.

It does however make me feel a little sad that there has been so much bickering recently, after all we are car club, and surely sometimes it's best to agree to disagree, we can't all have the same opinions that's obvious but surely the fact that we all support the brand in one form or another should count for something.

Come on guys and girls, let's stop seeing some of these posts that are so downbeat and sad, surely we all here for the same reason to support one another.

I wouldn't make a post like this normally, and it's not like me to comment like this publicly but I fear that some of the bickering lately may not help us as enthusiasts and club members long term, we may well end up losing members who have been invaluable to the club.

And just to make this clear I'm not actually identifying any particular people in this post as I try to get on with everybody.
I've met some great people throughout the club and long may it continue.

There's bound to be conflicts because for most it's easy to be armchair experts and that at times can cause issues.

Admittedly there are some real experts on here who have helped me solve many issues that I have been having and at times wanted to stick the car through a crusher because I was that hacked off!

But a walk away, a cup of tea and a hunt around on here or a plea for help and that solves everything.

It is a Club, a Forum in fact a whole lot more if you want to find anything out.
I usually miss the rants and raves and only get to see the the 'closed post' and only occasionally get to be part of one when it was running at a sensible level before it goes completely off track.

To be honest I find them quite amusing because I know most people wouldn't have the bottle to do it face to face!

I know what your saying Micky, you'll always get some that will try and ruin it for others, I've been on here for the last few years now and its a great place.

Sure you do get the odd agreements, but that's life I'm afraid we just get on with it.

I tend to think of the positives rather then the negatives, the more we can give to the negative side of things the more negativity spreads like a wild fire.

If anyone is giving you all negative waves, here's a tip.

Send this link to anyone that's giving you grief, your just simply play it, one of my favourite WW2 films,
Kelly's Heroes at its best.

Oddballs quotes.

Let's knock the Negative waves and let's crack on what we do best, cars socialising and having a good old laugh.

Cracking movie and a great performance by Donald Sutherland Your Lordship.

Remember talking about this film at work years ago and someone mentioned the Tiger tank that Oddball got hold of at the end.

One of the Swedish engineers we were working with was a bit of a tank enthusiast, and he said that it wasn't actually a Tiger, but a Russian T-34 with a Tiger turrret.

Whether he was correct or not I had no idea, but I was impressed at the time with his attention to detail.
