Today I put the exhaust back on after removing it to fit new handbrake cables, New rubber mounts, clamps, and a new gasket for the downpipe, and some firegum, no blows from the exhaust at all, and sits a lot better now,
Just need to fit the heat shield back on and tighten the handbrake up, oil/coolant change, and i'll be booking her in for the MOT the end of the month,

Its one of the jobs that will be getting done, But knowing me, I'll end up sourcing new parts, rather than trying to refurb the old.

Hi all,
Been a productive few days, Brakes have been bleed, Handbrake cable has been tightened up, car cleaned, and a full services, I decided to clean up the head lights while i was at it, After jacking the car up though, I noticed all the coolant coming out by the water pump, On further examination it turned out that the V was full, I stripped it down today, and found that the seal has split on the bottom of the stat, and that the straight pipe has split, New stat ordered, will fit when that arrives, and with a bit of luck, next wednesday when im off, i'll have her MOt'd, and be able to finally drive her.
