We have a 4K Panasonic BluRay player (not scaling) to feed it 4K content and will probably get a Sky Q 4K box once I've waded my way through the hours of stuff on my Sky HD box

I have to say though, I'm a little underwhelmed by 4K and in all honesty, unless I move closer to the TV (I view from around 8 feet away), I can't see much difference between 4k via Netflix or Amazon, and upscaled HD from the same source. I've read elsewhere on some of the AV forums that some folk are of the opinion that 4K only really comes into it's own on 60+ inch sets and would be inclined to agree, however, I haven't tried a "full fat" 4K Blu-ray player yet, so wonder if the increased bit rate would make 4K shine a little more? We bought the curved version as well as the flat version didn't have 3D. Certainly the 3D with passive glasses seems to be the best inplimentation I have seen. Can't get on with the Active glasses on our Samsung bedroom TV at all 4K HDR on BluRay I can certainly see improvements in picture from a standard full HD disc although it will depend very much on how the film has been shot etc. A lot of directors put intentional grain/noise etc into their films which will have an effect on how big an improvement you will see. I can't comment on 4K content from Netflix etc as I haven't tried it. Was it HDR stuff or just 4K you tried ? I think the HDR content takes things further still, not sure what's available in HDR on streaming sites though
