Finally fitted him. Used good old brasso in the end. I LOVE IT!

Impressive but not quite my Cup of Tea.
Size and shape doesn't seem to blend well with Grill. But if you like it what the Heck! No one else has one! |

My guess would be that it is off a 1950/60s Land Rover, which is why it is not recognized.
