Just think though, no need to worry about being caught speeding
Imagine the lost revenue in speeding tickets, they would have to generate that income elsewhere..... Breathing air tax??

Indeed, and that's why I doubt it will make law.

I could see it being done on a voluntary basis thus reducing insurance etc

35 is a pottering speed, but in a 30 zone .......

As for the lost revenue in fines , they can just tax every installation ..... that way Everyone gets the equivalent of a speeding fine .

I would say I do between 25 and 28 mph in a 30. Have you seen the price of fuel?

Another stupid idea from Brussels, you need to be half way past a 40 footer on a two lane road when the car decides that your going fast enough and leaves you stuck on the wrong side of the road with oncoming traffic .

sometimes going slower will use more fuel, it all depends on gearing, obviously the higher the gear you're in the less fuel you use (I'm not saying doing 60 in 5th will use less than 20 in 3rd, but for those that have the kv6 can sit at 30 in 5th will use less fuel than someone who would sit at 30 in 3rd/4th
