Absolutely OB

Will it be Beaulieu again? Missed the museum last time! Come to think of it, missed most of the day !!

I suspect, now, it may have been as ECU failure that kicked it all off, then the Wild West Cowboys added to the problem(s). Whatever, it's been an expensive learning curve

But now thanks to Lates & Co, who were brilliant, especially with their informative insight to the workings of the R75, I now have more knowledge as to the inter-connectivity of things on the car.

Especially with regards to the ECU's. Who would have thought that the true mileage of the car is stored in the lighting control? And, that it is also interlaced with all the ECU units in the car. Change one = change them all. Last time I buy a second hand unit off e-bay. Then again, I hope I won't need to ever again

No problem, once he'd changed the lighting control for a brand new one. Then everything came together. No "err" messages (so far) nor spurious warning indicators:lol:. Thank you Les for your help, once again.

As a FULLY PAID UP MEMBER I cannot thank you (all) enough for the help and advice, both material and actual that I have received during these last 16 weeks. INVALUABLE !!

£3.00 per annum? It's a swizz! It should be at least £30.00 per annum!!

Andrew, Glad to see you are now out of purgatory and in 75 heaven.
We visited Llandysul, it had a nice old Rover garage c/w sign and decent diesel fuel price. Sorry you had so much grief and welcome back on the road!.

When and how much was the diesel. In Penparc (near Cardigan) it's now £1.20.9 / ltr. Cheapest I saw, and bought. In Rugby it ranged from £1.25.9 - 1.29.9/lt
