Just another project drive observation (that I can't see noted anywhere).
May 2001 Rover 75 has 'Rover' written on the fog and headlight. The fogs also have a 'hood' over the bulb. December 2002 Rover 75 loses the Rover script from the fog and headlight. The fog light also loses its 'hood'.

Also note that earlier headlights have a grey backing which looks less obvious next to the reflectors where there is a small gap. On later ones with the black backing the gap is more obvious.
