Ours has found a new home for early evening lazing. She takes up residence from around 6 in the evening in the same spot after a hard days sleeping on the bed or under the conifers.

It's funny how they find their little spots and make them their own, all of a sudden that spot will go out of favour and another location will be found as the place to be

I really had no idea they all did that! Ours (called Jones) was a stray for 2 years or so, and I always assumed she developed the habit of changing "camp" regularly as a way of avoiding foxes, dogs etc whilst sleeping in the wild.

Then again, perhaps that is the reason and it's instinctive to all cats. They really are fascinating creatures.
