I have just fitted my silicone (2 piece) pipe with new O-rings and EGR bypass from DMGRS - fairly straightforward (I did not remove front bumper, just removed coolant header tank to one side to allow better access to the 'elbow' at the bottom). Car certainly seems smoother, quieter and a bit more responsive than before. Mine is a late car (2005), so there is no FBH to worry about.
