Delivered in record time too!

Peter I agree with you. Some lighting mods look as though they belong in Vegas.
I would think the ZT would look good with blue LEDs.

And I've never understood why we don't have illuminated stalks either. My old girlfriends Metro had lit stalks. I miss those.

Thanks again everyone.
Regards. Steve.

Great mod.

I've ordered my LEDs off EBay.

I've had cars with illuminated steering wheel controls and it's never been a problem. A mod for that would be good too.

imho it is a mistake to use orange LEDs.. Night vision is preserved with red. All cars that have factory fitted ambient lighing use red.

I have had red ambient in my ZTT for ages as another member did a how to on it. Two red LEDs mounted in the interior light. Works well and looks OEM. It is though very subtle which I like.

Most BMWs have orange ambient lighting, in fact the ambient LEDs in my car came from an E39 BMW 523i at a scrapyard. My Dad's 530d also has them.

Incidentally the orange used inside our cars is identical to that of the BMWs.

Hi Ed. I agree with the red wavelength of light being better for night vision.
However as these are mounted below the dash I get no extraneous light up into the cabin or line of sight. Only the rear have a slight bleed upwards.
Also the red didnt look as nice
If/when I do your mod then I shall as you use red as they will be on the dash area.

Regards. Steve.
