Exact same thing happened to me, pressed the wrong button and the frozen sunroof tried to move, took out the motor (easy) and took it apart, the plastic brush holder was totally melted, these motors are fairy expensive, but it would seem that you would actually be paying for the electronic part that comes with it, i wonder if it comes just as the metal motor part itself? It won't be replaced until this rotten weather is well rid of!! Incidentally, my roof was stuck slightly open too, but i was able to push it back fully shut when the motor was removed.
