Good morning all, my fortnightly update.

Walking with zimmer certainly still improving, hope to tackle stairs this week.

I've seen a few paralysed people on TV recently, and it puts my situation into perspective, time will almost certainly see me back behind the wheel.

Regards

Mike

Good morning Mike, thanks for the update and for telling us how you are. Zimmer frames are useful and so are wheelchairs. Hopefully you are not getting too bored at home and keeping to your physiotherapy plan. It would be great if one of the members could run you there and back to one of the forthcoming meets. Take care.

Nice one Mike, thank you for the update. It must be frustrating, but small and slow steps are important.

Speak to you soon,

Well, another fortnight has gone by, and tackling the stairs took longer than expected, but we've cracked it now; we being Jan and I.

Coming back down (backwards) is still a bit dodgy - problem is a turn at the top of the stairs.

Some unexpected good news, I'm shortly going back into hospital, for some serious physiotherapy - Stoke Mandeville no less.

Likely to be for a couple of weeks or so, as it was mentioned on the phone that weekends are free time.

Regards

Mike

There is certainly some good news in that Mike, and good progress, well done to you and Jan.

Your ears were probably burning yesterday as you were mentioned several times at our Frimley meet, and this is the sort of update we were hoping for.

Hi Mike, was just wondering how you were doing this morning - and now see your update. Thats great news you have made the stairs and hopefully the hospital stay will be of great benefit.

Very best wishes to you and Jan.

Will catch up later.
