Very nice job. Those Serpents are going to lift it.

fitted my new boot today - complete with the pre project drive boot plinth, completing the outside PPD work, and nicely fixing the damage done by some kind soul in the supermarket carpark who was too busy to stop and leave their details. Compare to the previous photos of the back end and i think you can see its a vast improvement - just need to get the bumper straightened and resprayed now

and did some work upgrading the toys inside too - bmw mk4 satnav:

oh, and as a bonus, the electric wing mirror drivers side now works - it seems my mechanic didn't plug the old one in properly.

I will try and take some pictures tomorrow of the headlight units - can't beleive how good that 3m restoration kit brings them up. Disappointed I couldn't get the led side lights in, so i will have to put up with the mix of halogen and xenon bulbs in there. Oh well, can't have everything. Also decided not to change the hid burners until i've seen how the existing ones look. And that the internals on the headlights work, as I'd hate to fork out for new ones only to find the headlights are useless. More work later on perhaps, but the bumper will need to come off at some stage again I'm sure.

Very nice, all that seems to be missing is a nice touch of extra oomph from your to do list

Looking good, and you can as I did use the Comet wheels for the fitment of winter tyres.

There is nothing more rewarding than pulling a car back from the brink

Keep up the good work

nicely done, I have just started cleaning up the leather time consuming but so nice to sit in a clean car.

I have refinished the steering wheel in black bit too shiny at the moment. might get a wooden one off the bay

just fitted led side lights - pic I posted in the other thread, but I'll put it here again because it really shows how well that 3m headlight restoration kit brings them up. You can see the the lens clarity, and the led 501 sidelight.

I think the new burners arrived today while I was out (yes I changed my mind and decided to change them anyway!) - I have 2 parcels at the post office, 1 of them has to be them, so I reckon I will be able to try these out this weekend. fingers crossed, pooping myself they won't work!
