HMMM not very handy; you could try reminding them its 299 from Leeds or find someone else

Shame; for me the Swansea guys have been super brilliant

I phoned head office and was told "each branch has different prices" i said £130 difference is to much for the same company but different branch. So the franchise manager is going to ring me back next week. i think they are cowboys before they even start the job.

My online quote from the Leeds branch did not include VAT.

I'm not sure if this is Longlife company policy or franchise specific?

My local fitting station is their Head Office at Bridport!
That's odd, I made two phonecalls to the Bridport facility, one to ask if they could do it & a rough idea of price & the second to book it in. They had it for the afternoon (July last year) & it's spot on.

Sadly as all these places are franchises, the level of service will vary massively from one branch to another!

I had a Longlife exhaust on my previous Accord Type S and was only OK... Even though I'd asked for a subtle tone it droned on motorway journeys and the fitment wasn't great at all.

Ended up going to a Powerflow place in Accrington, they were recommended to me, and they rectified the issues, sorted the fitment out and put a better silencer in it which took the driving away.

Longlife cost me £500 but I got £150 back which paid for the Powerflow work!

I think every place will have its pros and cons, but I wouldn't recommend the Leeds place on the back of this

Sorry, but in 2015, you shouldn't have too!

If they offer an email address on their website, they should make sure it is both;

a) working

and

b) manned

When I receive email enquiries at work, I have to respond within 2 hours, otherwise I get in trouble with the Manufacturer!

In an ideal world, no, but website email systems often suffer attacks from robots and the likes, which is why it is useful to be a member here and get the inside word on who to talk to and deal with. Jason has replied in an earlier post, and for the 75 is the man in the know. He is the one who worked with the enthusiasts site on their stainless project which is well wirth a read, and when i needed one for the diesel set me up with the best franchise around here. I got excellent service from the oswestry franchise. Jason had called the owner in advance to make sure they had all the latest details for the 75 diesel, and came away with a system 5db quieter than my oem was.
