I wouldn't worry. It is aimed at new eu states that have lots of clapped out vehicles. As they can cone over here it perhaps isn't such a bad idea forcing these countries to have yearly mots on all of their cars. The alternative is having untested vehicles on our roads. May mean that some of our hacks such as blanking egr's off and removing cats becomes impossible. Oh well.

I too will be giving my vote to nigel as i'm also fed up of all the lies from this & the last government , so where else can we go to show our anger!! but i won't get too involved in this thread because we could be here all night & ticker might not be up to it

The problem with the policy makers and those imposing rules is that they just dont get the vintage/classic car scene becuase they are driven around in Jag, Mercs and BMWs (high end, high fuel comsumption vehicles) and have lost links with heritage.
There is nothing nicer than seeing an old car still being driven on our roads by an enthusiast in amongst the euroboxes.
