Being an 'old' Rover fan, I would just point out that the picture of the P4 Rover 75 on page 42, states that the 75 name came from the much-liked Rover of the 1950s; in fact, 75 first appeared on the 1948 Rover 75 P3, which looked very much like the earlier pre/post war P2. 75 represented brake horse power (BHP), but this may be clarified in the text. For our younger members, the P series Rovers belonged to an era before there was any connection with MG, or the 'Rover' badged cars that followed, but Chapter One should fill you in and will explain why the Rover name was so treasured.

Roverite.
The original launch press release mentioned the P4 75, but Rover Raver has said in a previous thread that the P3 75 was also mentioned at the launch press briefing, so it was probably a bit of both

Got a good deal. Both books including postage for £43.50.

(So my book is £1.00 and Brabus's will be £42.50 )

I've got my copy too. It's nice to see the club got a mention.

Mine's arrived too, looks a good read with some nice photography.
