Currently a GSX550EF bought for £260 plus another £80 to get it reliable then used it on a recent charity ride to Thurso, went up the east coast from north of York and then down past Loch Ness, Fort William & Loch Lomand on the way home 1661 miles in three days, didn't miss a beat and probably the most comfortable bike on the run.
Also have an 84 CBX750 with a knack'd starter chain so decided to strip it and tidy it up a bit, now a frame & wheels until I get round to doing the motor Lastly my pride and joy my 99 TL1000s did look like this until I blew up the gearbox And currently looks like this after grafting on a 750K8 radial front end and some 999 Marchesini's (currently away being powdercoated) Motor will be 1088cc by the time i've finished, when that time will be is anyone's guess, but i'm in no rush.. Nice collection we all have between us so far

So nobody is using a Rover motorcycle, or one of their pedal cycles. Not surprising really, they would all be about a 100 years old now!
Rover made pedal cycles, in fact they invented the chain driven rear wheel bicycle, that is the basis of all modern bicycles. They then progressed to motorcycles, before concentrating on cars. The Rover name was first used on a bicycle, as a model name, to signify movement, as in, roving around the countryside. Roverite. |

I don't have any now but I wonder if I might be allowed to post some of those I have had in the past?

Well after 2 months of giving up riding, last night I bought my dads bike off him. It's a 1997 yammy 600 diversion. He wasn't getting on with it, and he decided he was going to sell it in the next month or two. I have been itching to get riding again, so a deal was done! It's almost immaculate, only covered 9000 from new! It's not quite as fast or flash as some of my previous bikes, but it will get me to work over the winter, til I can afford to get something a bit better. The best bit is it does over 65mpg!
