I'm not a Corrie fan, but I do remember him as Eddie Yeates. He was the Ogdens lodger or something, wasn't he

I've only ever seen him once as he held the door open for me at the fish and chip shop. In our local paper it said he died peacefully in his sleep at our hospice over here |
