How are you ?
As you can see many people seem interested ...
So i feel obliged to begin soon ;anyway before the first cold days.

of your side,see how to pass 2 wires from Webasto pin 3 and earth to cabin.

(that will be the only thing you have to do)

Andy,

If interested,as i said to Tam,think how to pass two wires from webasto to
Cabin (glove box for instance).
and may be the more difficult,add a socket to pin 3 if no existing

hi Mike. I'm well thanks, as is my fbh since you done your majic I'll get on the 2 wires thing asap iirc I'v already fitted conector in to fbh plug.
what exactly are we talking about here, am I right thinking a device so can text the car to swith fbh on as upposed to the remote I was going to use ??
I am preparing to install an extra battery in boot. also a small fuel tank for fbh only so it can run on cheaper fuel , tam

I don't think a extra battery is necessary !
What is this remote made off ?

This is a very interesting project errrrrr what's a mobile phone? could this be rigged up to my toaster so that when I pop the Hovis in on a cold winter morning my FBH fires up?

Exactly,

Leave in your glove box a mobile phone open(the cheapest model).

From you bed make a call by your home phone to it (one ring is enough)
And your webasto begin to warm the engine.
a quarter of a hour or so later,your car is ready
