Well, recovery guy showed up and it started straight away on its own haha!!! Bit strange! But the accelerator is still sticking so will be replacing the Throttke body next week :/

Maybe I missed something here, but wouldn't you just disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle bottle, then give the throttle a few blips manual, and you know whether it's the cable or the other bits giving the problem ?
(where's the "simples" meerkat smiley ).

Im wondering now if its something electrical as it seems to all move freely :/ but it doesnt explain why the revs drop when i blip the accelerator... i will post up what happens on Tuesday as its probably beyond anything i can do now

Well im now stuck waiting to be recovered home as my accelerator wont drop and sticks at like 5000 revs! Not much fun in rush hour
