Default Replacement pipes fitted and all good!

Uncle has done a great job making the replacement parts. Picture shows the old rusted pipes (with rubber connections still attached) and the new stainless ones. All fitted and no leaks!!

Hi Gary
The last one fitted a new PRT on was running at 92-95 IRRC
It was running at 105 C when it came it and Fan was on most of the time!

I can always ask He reckoned it only took him an hour and that was including the odd angle caused by the mechanic that bent it when he took it off and didn't tell me!! The mechanic that fitted it back on though said he did it perfect. Maybe that will convince him to make more for others who need a replacement

Thanks Jules, it shows 92-95 most of the time although I've seen 105 and 88?

This is what I needed for my ZT too, the pipe ruptured completely and wasn't repairable.

That diagram is very misleading though, item 19 looks nothing like the actual item. I think it might have changed design on 2003 onwards cars. I got sent a part that looked like 19 on the diagram and the pipes are much bigger diameter than the actual part on the car.

I don't know whether it changed I'm afraid. Mine is a 2002 and it looks exactly like item 19 on the diagram although the diagram doesn't show the brackets holding the 2 pipes together.

Re my uncle.... I will definately speak to him and see if he fancies sorting something out. Anyone have any idea of what may be a fair price per item if he did? If I remember rightly the original was about £30 ish?
