Ariel replacement
I have been looking for answers to my ariel amplifier and filter problems in the general Tech forum. I feel the most efficient solution to my issues is to install an external ariel and bypass the existing twin coax fed Video amplifier and filter to the screen ariel. Any pointers? should this be straightforward and any ideas on an ideal roof fin type amplified ariel
Cheers

No answers yet to your question and as I don't have any myself then hopefully this little bump will grab the attention of someone who might have some answers for you!

Hi Steve, I cannot get the existing ariel amplifier and filter to give results with the TV. I have proved the TV ability by replugging the coax leads (2) into a battery operated portable ariel and it works reasonably. I am now considering just bypassing the works amp and filter with an afterpart
ps for Kaiser and Kiwirover I do have an Ariel Leader Motorcycle as well

Try puting you image in to your forum image gallery then linking to that from the thread. There were some insturctions around here somewhere, but blowed if I can find them. Always the case when you are in a hurry Sorry I can't help with the "Aerial" problem though. I havent been into that bit of my car yet - proberbly the only area left I haven't taken apart. I am sure someone will be along who has.
