Hello Craig
That's no problem, I have taken your name off the list. Regards Clyde |

Hello Andy
You are more than welcome to join our convoy, our eta at junction 9 will probably be somewhere between 8.15 and 8.30, Super Chip is also joining at junction 9 and Victorgte is joining at Cheltenham. We will see you tomorrow morning. Regards Clyde |

Really sorry to let you guys down, but I will be unable to attend PoL this year. Car simply isn't ready, will try again next year

I regret that I won't be attending PoL this year as I am helping a mate clean and paint the rusty sub-frames on his X-Type (before anyone says it, I know - I have got my priorities wrong and he should have bought a Rover 75 instead).
Am gutted about this as I love the atmosphere at PoL and particularly within Cofton Park itself. However, I will definitely be going next year. This idea of a South West meet-up along the M5 is a great idea and I hope it will be repeated next year as myself, several others from Devon and a friend with a 75 SVP from Weston-super-Mare would certainly join in. In previous years when I have left Exeter at 7am and driven up the M5, I have not seen any cars heading for PoL until we are into Gloucester. I lead a small convoy of four cars up (all friends) from Exeter last year and when arriving at the services in Gloucester we were joined by a black MG ZR and a white Rover 200 Series. Suddenly the trip became more interesting and were all making a stand against the mundane also using the M5.
