It is more usually caused by usage, many of the modern ones suffer from it, but it is much more easily and cheaply fixed than damp is.

Its a sandwich of ply, insulation, then ply all glued together. The constant walking upon it combined with poor assembly, can cause the sandwich to delaminate. Its a straightforward fix, involving drilling holes to inject glue, then compressing te sandwich back together until it sets up.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

We went to look at our first caravan yesterday. Awful doesn't describe it. Filthy dirty, no toilet, cracked windows and the guy selling it had the cheek to say that caravans are much better without any fittings inside! It wasn't all that cheap either. £550. £5.50 more like.

Some people do have some odd ideas, my sympathy. You are not getting much luck on the other forum either - early days yet and lots more caravan forums.

Don't despair there are plenty out there, and for £1000 you will get a descent little van with some accessories...... Just bought my Daughter one for £650 with accessories and awning, yes it needed a few little jobs, but they are away out in it as I type and they love it

I see quite a lot of decent looking vans up your way. Much cheaper than down my way in Bristol. What I need is someone to.........

If a van is local to us, let me know I will view it on your behalf. I am no expert but can tell a 'mutt' from a thoroughbred' pm me your criteria and your running budget. I can send you my mobile number if that helps

Keith

Sorry for the delay. I am going down this weekend so I will take some then.
I went down last night but the light was too low to take photos. All paid for and £5 a week for storage where it is. The previous chap has replaced a few catches for me since I bought it which I thought was good of him.
