Hi Ronnie I am getting a Canon Powershot SX 50 HS Bridge camera when I am back in the UK for its superzoom 1200 mm lens and I will be selling the SX 40 HS. It seems that everyone has their own preferences. Panasonic image quality on zoom is excellent by all reports for photo and HD video in its Bridge form.

Thankyou all for the advice & suggestions, much appreciated
Anyway, decided on a Fujifilm Finepix S4300,seems a decent enough camera for what i need, point & shoot type of thing.Getting it tomorrow,so i'll have a play & perhaps put some pics up,they won't be as professional looking as some on here, but i'll give it a go |

Have a look at Starbugs review on 29.12.11 of the Fuji fine pix. Not the model you are getting but his review amongst others is crammed with lots of info. He is one of the top posters for meets and I am confident Ronnie that you will be up there amongst the esteemed Gurus here in no time at all. Get yourself a good photo editor, lots of free ones to practice on. Have fun
