The difference between 75 ZT are here David
I only stock and trust Firstline as Unipart stocks are now exhausted but were the exact same part in different boxes !!!

If you do a search Stocktake has done a detailed Howto.

Not cheapos from Fleebay I hope as you will be doing the job again in a couple of months as the rubber is made of plastercine !!

Ive seen first hand how shocking some of the pattern bushes are.

Would never in a million years go with pattern.

Surely there are some proper originals tucked away somewhere?

There are these but are people prepared to pay the cost ? in my opinion best to pay once rather than twice

Its a no brainer for me.

One of the copies I saw the rubber had completely disappeared, leaving just the outer metal ring and a big hole.

THe rear of the lower arm was flapping around in said hole, and the wheel and whole front assembly was free to move about 5-6" all over the place.

Never seen anything like it before, and about as dangerous as you can get (almost!)

Also most of the pattern ones Ive seen have had far less rubber support too. The OE ones are super sturdy, but the rubber "struts" or "legs" on the pattern ones are almost always thinner and weaker.

Obviously someone must have got some from the original manufaturer somewhere and called them OEM equivalent, but best thing to do is do a proper careful comparison to the genuine ones before fitting and make sure you are 100% happy that they are as robust and strong as the originals!

If you want the identical bushes to the genuine original (in a different box and cheaper)

See here
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=72773

The rubber bush part is the same as the OEM ZT bush
ie less air gap for less arm shudder over bumps but with no noticeable increased road noise.
We fit these to the 75 and ZT's alike.
The 75 version had to much "give" even when new in my opinion.
