Machined mild steel wheel bearings chocolate suspension bushes, and engine mounts suspension components made of cheese Buying a reputable brand is also a lottery, even genuine parts in a lot of cases Brian |

Sad but true Bri.
Did you hear anymore from X-Part re the rear upper arms, or are we all going to have to do a fair bit of reworking before fitting them? |

But it has turned out to be a lack of quality replacement parts, the kind of parts that you should be able to buy without problems. Russ

Apparently these have been reworked by the supplier, so it should be interesting to see how they compare to the pair I removed last Saturday from the funny coloured one, which have now been shot blasted and painted to cheer them up. Brian |

The lack of support for these models is astounding - regularly I get from my local parts factor - sorry, no one does them...
190 front exhaust pipe, shock absorbers (monroe would have been my favourite), the engine stabiliser bush, drop links, all either unavailable or made of cheese. |

My old 2.0 CDTi didn't used to see a lot of gas stations because it seemed to go miles on a tank. That was with it being remapped and me testing the torque out now and again with a heavy foot
If I bought another it would be the a CDTi again with the remap because of the miles to the gallon. If I had the money to burn on petrol, then I would get the V8 75 Contemporary model. J1MBO's previous V8 would be the one I would be happy to spend petrol money for petrol on all day long I wonder where it is now days???
