Hiya John. Hi Tom. I will come to Colwyn or Conway if it helps, but as things are very tentative down the line we will have to see what happens when/if the times change drasticaly!

oops had correct timings in post just handover time went slightly out.
I know the road well and sometimes it can take over 3 hours others under 2 hours, does depend on conditions and how many Tractors/caravans and sheep you meet on the way. With the next in line (JamesUK) phone number to hand at least you will be able to let him know of any delays. I and no one else wish you to have to drive at a speed outside the limits or dangerously just to get to a handover stage on time. Last edited by JohnDotCom; 6th June 2009 at 21:18.. |

Thanks Tim.
Have a safe journey, I will be unavailable from Friday for On Line contact. Can you PM and arrange handover times/details with JamesUK Please? Many thanks to the two drivers covering this stage. Still time for some more volunteers to either drive in Convoy or take over a section. |

I can confirm, i will pick up from Tim (Tim0) at 1-30 PM at Colwyn Pier.
I am then going direct to "Poplars" Lymm services (Jctn M56-M6) to hand over to Merl, (60 miles ish) and will follow him North as far as PNE footy club. At that point I am leaving the relay and heading for home via the M61 etc. I will be approx 30 mins early at Colwyn, (with coffee and bikkies) and will wait as long as needed for Tim. Good luck to everyone, enjoy the day and be safe. . Last edited by James.uk; 16th June 2009 at 00:25.. |
