Thanks Chris I knew someone would have the answer

Jayne and myself just got back from attendance at our first national meet, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great meeting so many members all in one place even if difficult at times to remember both forum names and real names.

A great collection of colours on the cars, some of which i had not seen in the flesh before.

Congratulations to the organisers and heres to the next one.

One thing that Xpart did mention was that they was looking at doing some sort of club visit some time in the future to there warehouse.

Also announced that club members will be getting a 10% off when shopping at Xpart which will be coming online soonish.

the overall impression was don't worry Xpart are here for a long time and will be helping us to keep the cars on the road.

Anybody remember the name of the website mentioned by the X-part representative, for sourcing the parts?

Its very good but not alway up to date, just put in your part number and search and it'll put up all the dealers that have that part in stock, also gives you email address phone number and full postal address as well as the price.

Now get hunting

Best weekend away for just ages, Soooo many cars

So much laughter,

Memorable moments:

Comical:

Pete trying not to laugh anymore on Sat night cos his sides hurt as the seat on his vauxhall was not comfy enough.

Kens face when he "discovered" a tin of SPAM amongst the raffle prizes

GG's shock reaction when I went to kiss him goodbye.

Timbop6 choosing the tin of SPAM as his raffle prize

Kandyman banning me from the forum whilst sat next to me in the pub and explaining exactly what he was doing whilst he did it

Brian............. just a star.
.

Serious:

The cars
The people
Timbop6 surprise photo for Jayne (Mrs Gryphon)
Finding out just how down to earth Christopher, Ken and Pete are.
( saw a Jules resistor on your fan Christopher guess your resistor was faulty)

Thanks for all the people who worked so hard to make this happen

we had a 628 mile round trip, over two tanks of fuel but worth every penny

Oh, and thanks for putting up with me
