Pics of Tilly.
well, as "organiser" has insisted, and asked so nicely, here's a taster. Of course it is LEF, X-Power Grey, and not "le mans" grey, as per that 2002 post on MGOC.

Thanks for ther pictures Mike, it does look rather nice .
It'd be interesting to know what details the club holds for this car, a pm to Reebs might be in order. I'd also be inclinded to have a word with Terry Shaw in Stourbridge about the car. |

Many thanks for the pics, car looks stunning with those seats and the painted dash & trim! The dash looks to be painted in Aurora in the pics? Hope to see you and the car around soon, Teddybear nano maybe? Best regards, Tom. Last edited by Organiser; 9th October 2013 at 17:49.. |

Indeed, I could look up its build record and see what it's described as. I'll need to be PM'd the VIN though, as I can't obtain the record from its registration mark sadly.

Thanks for the prompt to see what the VIN indicates..SARRJXLFFZD..if I read it aright, a ZT Basic Saloon 190 LHD Auto. I await what Reebs can disclose. This may explain the V5C which says it is a "ZT+ Auto". The chassis and dash vin and documents match for this VIN. PM sent to Reebs. Perhaps an surplus/unsold LHD which was factory-reworked to Kevin Howe's specifications? Build date versus the reg date of 20/02/2002 would be interesting. The fact that the manual gearchange surround is finished in the same colour as the dash and console, commented on in mid-2002, suggests it was a manual car from first registration, regardless of the VIN and V5C.

Hi Mike, Teddybears Nano is Sunday 20th October from 9-30am, there will be a catering van on site for hot food & drinks all day. You can come for a chat or to work on your car with other owners to help out if you get stuck with anything, not 100% sure if we will have a T4 machine this time but I think it will be? Check out the West Mids event page for more details and to put your name down. Regards, Tom. |

Hi Mike, the factory build data lists it as an Xpower Grey RHD ZT 190 entry spec with Matrix - Blue/Yellow seats. It left the line @ 09:52:13 on 05/02/02
My guess is that it was substantially reworked into an SE model changing the seats, A pillar airbags, factory DVD Player electric memory Red Alcantara seats etc. What does the trim code plate say for the interior? Is it WSQ = Blue/Yellow Matrix? or WTA = Copperleaf Alcantara / Ash Grey? |
