Didn't get to come over and see you all, we were just contemplating hiring the lovely yellow Camaro when the rain started. Took shelter under a tree for about 20 mins, then decided the kids were getting too wet and cold so made a dash for the car and came home. A huge amount of standing water on the roads home, but at least I won't have to clean the passenger side wheel arches for a while!

Anyway, a good show, far more there than I thought there'd be, always surprises me how many MG F's and TF's turn up at shows. Some lovely MG B's, my son seems to have pretty horrific taste in colours though, his favourite seemed to be the dirty nappy coloured MG B-GT. Will definitely be along next year!

Default Great Meet

Congratulations Steve and John on a great meet.
Lots of Classic cars to see and plenty of other attractions. Well done Newguypete for coming all the way from Manchester. Good to meet you and Gary b again.

Compared 60 pack with Simon. Runaway win for me. Jane declined to do a poledance on the flagpole. That would have been entertaining.

Good to meet John's Mum Sylvia, son Brendan and his Mum Sarah.

Shame about the rain. Took advantage of pole position on the grid to run away early to avoid potential exit queue. Apologies for not saying goodbye to everyone but heavy rain stopped play.

HI Guy`s

As already said thank`s to Steve & John, for arranging a great meet, fascinating place with plenty to see and do.
Got back safely, with one comical incident, traffic come to a virtual stop on A1 North, wagon s trying to pass /overtake a Ford Anglia E97 doing a top speed of around 40ish.
Great to see some known faces again, and to have a good chinwag.
Rain did`nt spoil it too much.
Thank`s everyone for a great day out.

Pete (NewGuyPete).
