Have CPC gone down the drain? thinking of using their same day service & visiting the National Motorcycle Museum at the same time

They look good, Looks like the website is gone though and nothing on their FB page since June..I'll give them a tinkle later for a drive in/out service..

Just wondering about the centres on the meteors as these need doing too..

Motorcycle museum is only 8 miles away..

I know it's not local but for top notch alloy refurb work I can highly recommend Stevie at Wheelrite in Chorley - http://www.wheelrite.co.uk/

Stevie's a great guy and knows his stuff; he gets alloys sent to him from all over the country and generally you can send a full set for around £20-£30 via Paisly Freight and the likes (can be found on eBay generally)

OK just rung them and drive in drive out same day is £45 pw and they can do alloy centers not plastic in at 8am out at 5pm..2 mins from train station and a 20min walk the other end for the motorcycle museum..

Looks like i'll be off to Brum next month then..

Loads of people on here have used them, including myself.

I can only recall 1 person having an issue TBH, and I am not too sure if that issue would have been less of an issue if the guy lived in Brum and not a fair distance away.

I think for the money they charge it would almost be silly not to give them a shot. They have many many happy customers and given the amount of wheels these guys refurb, it's only natural that there will be that many more reviews.

Someone who does 10 sets a week stands a far less chance of a bad review than someone who does 100 sets a week

Well i've told them i'd be ringing the beginning of next month, £45pw is still £15 less than a send off loose wheel round here and I haven't been to the Motorcycle museum for a very long time..

So all sorted, PhilT4 booked for the meet on the 26th, car going in next week for new wishbone, flexi & probably bottom engine mount, while yours truly attacks the underside with a bit of wire brushing and underseal.

Quite handy when the garage is owned by an ex work colleagues dad

Just got to find where to get some new wheel badges for the Meteors now...
