If you get really stuck, I'd be happy to have a look at it for you and chuck a clean, new install of XP (and all related software) and sort out the daft Ralink software too.

You don't need the utility for WiFi, Windows XP has it's own. Just Ralink (among others, Belkin I'm looking at you!) make you use their own silly software.

Sorry I disagree with this advice. I find AVG Tuneup to be rubbish.

In general I would only ever advise using or use such a product as a very last resort prior to wiping and reloading a machine.
