I love my 75 and am glad I stuck around. She still needs work on the paintwork, but looks good to me.

Enthusiast cars aren't for everyone

these cars LoVe the attention and regular (daily if poss ) checks.
just like a Good woman - they're high maintenance
and worth the effort.

trouble with a capital T lol had 3 years out of her, old age got her in the end headgasket gone ,2 broken rear springs clutch n slave failing, thermostat changed elbow pipe broken, injector orings, inlet manifold gaskets twice, front suspension bushes twice in two years, the list goes on and on it was becoming uneconomical viable to keep the old girl going so scrapped her instead. didnt have the time or facilities to fix her

I can't.

Should have offered her for sale on here. You'd have got far more than the scrap man gave you, and someone would have saved the car.

As long as you are honest with any faults when selling then the new owner can either fix it or use it as a donor - every little helps.

Nothing you have posted on this forum sounds lethal though - when the rear springs break there is usually a fair length of coil still useable. When mine went I can't say as I even noticed - only picked it up the day before the MOT, which it passed funnily enough although the replacement springs didn't arrive until the day after.
