Had my tourer zt-t a month now. My wife and I have noticed that the fan sometimes acts weird like it's trying to cool the engine. Don't know if this is normal? I have a day off tomorrow to do the check of the fan you advised. Might need a vis motor/fan check at the meet? Also I still very occasionally get the smell of petrol in the cabin. Once a week so far. Not coming from the vents but already when I get in after a journey earlier on. 1 journey. Hopefully one of you could advise me on the meet up and check my car over. I am 99% happy and glad to own this car. Suits my needs for fishing and is beautiful to look at. See you soon and my brain is a sponge to learn to keep my car on the road for a very long time. |

The best thing you can do is have your car put on the T4 to get a full health check, either Duncan or Jamie will then tell you what is what, and will point you in the right direction to whom you next need to talk to, in the mean time look through the front grill and see if you can spot a silver resistor at about 14.00pm behind the fan blades. 1 2 You can also do the demist test, start your car make sure the A/C is off then press the demist button, look through the front grill and see if the fan is running continually or not. Photo without the resistor. 3 If the vis motor guru Dave (Stocktake) attends which i think he may well do, then he will check out your vis motors for you. See your there http://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/f...hp?f=199&t=660

Hi Dave.
It is increasingly looking like we will need the tents up at this meet, due to our lovely climate  hopefully the grass will not too soggy, only a few days away now

Sorry folks. I'm up in the North East so my big gazebo isn't coming along. Mind you, after last time it'd probably take until mid afternoon until we got it up .
Fingers crossed for a decent day for you. See you in the New Year if not before. |
